A perfect example of why I don't swill booze from the bottle on the red carpet at awards shows.

Am I the only one who thinks that perhaps Kanye's little outburst at the VMA's last night might've been a contrived, preplanned stunt sponsored by Hennessey Cognac?

Yeezy was knocking back the Hen' on the red carpet, as seen above...then commandeered the mic from
cute lil Taylor Swift during her acceptance speech to claim that Beyonce´ was robbed...

He does have a point. The "Single Ladies" video was pretty timeless...although when I hear the song I immediately think of Justin Timberlake in a leotard and high heels from the SNL sketch aping the video...

But think about it...wouldn't a baller like Kanye be sipping Louis XIII at $1500 a bottle, rather than
plain ol' Henry?  Maybe a bottle of Cristal, but HENNESSEY? Come on.

I'm sure MTV is loving the free pub...nothing like some drama to bring back the streed cred. But before
FOX NEWS gets a hold of this, or anymore chick singers like Pink or Katy Perry flood their Twitter accounts with indignant outrage, let's not lose sight of the fact that it was the VMA's. Just an awards show. It's show BUSINESS, people. Nothing more... Let's turn the spotlight off of Kanye and onto Lady Gaga...who requested a lion for her red carpet entrance in the rider of her MTV contract.

Please, no Britney Spears / Jungle Cat jokes here...
